(Creon) Antigone

~~Creon~~ Antigone — a Tér12 production —

The people of Thebes got a new king. Two, in fact. They could have ruled in peace, taking turns. Naturally, they did not. They chose war instead. They could have made peace too, but they chose death.

Creon became the new king. The new direction? Forward or backward? Sorry. It could be forward, and it could be backward, so let it be sideways. But which side? Sorry. Right. Let it be in circles instead. The new direction: round and round.

It is a godsend that every Creon comes with an Antigone. At last, a martyr — that is what we need. The Martyr. Someone who decides. Someone who takes responsibility. For us.

Of course, of course… The big things! They are Wonderful!

But who is Ismene? What happened to her? And what will happen to us?
