K — AS IN CONTROL

It would be good to know what you are sitting down for, right? What to expect. What you get in return for your money and your time. If only the next sentence would finally say something about the show. Or the previous one. Is it like the things Hegymegi made at K before? No. This will be much more personal. Or did whoever recommended it do so as a joke? Relax, it is not improv. It is not interactive. Really not.
Control: an international word with a fixed meaning: direction, supervision, domination.
Why do we believe we can keep our fate in our hands? Or at least the events on stage. Why do we feel compelled? Could this also be a professional hazard for us, one that has seeped into our private lives? Is it enough to follow instructions coming from the right place? Why do we sometimes want to let control slip from our hands?
Anyone who chooses to see the performance takes a considerable risk: Mr. K not only offers a glimpse into his most private thoughts, he also invites you into a nightmare woven over many sleepless nights.
